Jordan Melo M10 is Jordans 2014

The Jordan Melo M10 is a sneaker that Jordans 2014 seems a bit more classically oriented in its material decision than the rest of the signature basketball silhouettes coming out of Beaverton at the moment. Sure they’ve got the futuristic Flight Plate ride on bottom, but they’ve also showed up with a healthy amount of suede attached – when was the last time you saw suede on a new basketball shoe? This new colorway is one of those, and also features a "Raptors" colorway that looks like it was borrowed from the Jordan 7.
New Jordans 2014 has made plenty of sneakers beyond the basketball realm before, but they’ve never come with a dedicated running silhouette. That will change as they orient themselves a bit more towards the Bill Bowerman strain of the Nike story with the upcoming Jordan Flight Runner (Release date May 1st). The shoes feature Dynamic Fit technology, Nike Zoom cushioning, and the requisite bits of Jumpman branding. Now that the Jordan Future has proven the brand’s ability to create solid lifestyle treatments, could this design help them plant their flag in the running world?
The upcoming New Jordan Shoes releases are decorated with all sorts of little accoutrements that you wouldn’t find a standard pair of Jordans. There’s the glow in the dark, the gold lace tips, the cork insoles, that unique insignia on the back, and there’s those ring style lacelocks. The lacelocks are on display here, which reveals some "YOT6″ lettering that we can only assume stands for "Year of the 6" a title that’s certainly fitting for this year given how many styles of that silhouette we’re being treated to. See the trinkets in better detail after the break and watch for the Air Jordan 6 "Cigar/Champagne" release dates on Sneaker News soon.
